Amid the Presidential task force guidelines on social interaction due to the COVID-19 outbreak, yesterday a large crowd was seen at Elegushi Beach in Lagos Nigeria without any social distancing.
There was no task force in the area to ensure that the strict covid-19 guidelines earlier stipulated by the Lagos state government urging its residents to avoid being jailed for a year by complying with COVID-19 guidelines.
The spike of COVID-19 cases in Lagos has given rise to the new measures taken by the Governor, Babajide Sanwolu making wearing a face mask mandatory when residents are outside their homes.
